Executive Team

Brian Speece

President and CEO

BrianĀ  has over 40 years experience in facilities and project management. Brian is a licensed civil engineer who began his career with U.S. Steel as a design professional. He then spent 35 years as an educational administrator with overall responsibility for all facilities design, development, construction and maintenance. He has managed the development of facilities master plans, the planning and implementation of bond campaigns and construction programs, the creation of new college campuses, coordinating applications for state funded construction programs and managing the educational programming of academic facilities. His experience in managing all the operational activities for a large college district along with his engineering background gives him the ability to provide leadership for any type of facilities program or construction project. He can also work with a wide variety of groups during the development and implementation of projects including architects and engineers, educational administrators, faculty and staffs, boards of trustees, community groups and local and state agencies.

Craig Speece

Vice President

Craig has a B.S. in Materials Engineering from California Polytechnic University – San Luis Obispo. Craig spent 15 years in the Industrial Automation field in various roles as an engineer, project manager and territory manager overseeing large capital projects in the Oil and Gas, Power, Pharmaceutical, and manufacturing industries. Craig joined Ridgerunner in 2020 and is currently managing multiple construction projects in the higher education sector, along with the day-to-day activities for the company. Craig has experience managing multiple entities within a large project, schedule and budget analysis, as well as document control systems. Craig is focused on further developing Ridgerunner Engineering employees and systems to provide a well-rounded service organization to their customers.

Danielle Rawers

Senior Project Manager

Danielle Rawers is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies. She is a flexible and detail-oriented project and construction manager with nine years of experience managing a diverse set of geotechnical, structural, civil, architectural, electrical, mechanical, commissioning, transmission, and solar energy and storage projects. She thrives in dynamic environments and excels at negotiating and managing resources and risk. Understanding and collaborating with internal and external teams and stakeholders for efficiency, process improvement and informed decision making is one of her favorite undertakings. Training and teaching are welcomed opportunities. Written communication; budget analysis and monitoring; and report writing are common activities where she applies both technical and creative skills. At Ridgerunner Engineering, she is responsible for directing project teams through successful project planning and design, construction, and closeout of multi-million-dollar new builds as well as scheduled maintenance projects.
